Hey Oscar, Thanks so much for like on my post. I am too an aspiring novelist, and was wondering if you have any advice for getting stuff in the hands of an agent? Thanks!

No problem at all thank you for checking my blog out as well, when it comes to getting an agent to truly accept a work I guess I could only put forward the same things others say in regards to that, making sure to fulfill their submissions guidelines and not querying agents who don’t take your genre, things of that nature but I’m no expert and I don’t yet have an agent but best of luck to you in your writing endeavors!

Thank you so much for the congratulations!! I hope that some day my writing will get published, I know that it’s a slow grind to that moment though I’ll be sure to be persistent until things come together. I’m very happy you enjoy these posts, I really just search random sites all across the blogosphere tbh haha I think we all have a constant preoccupation with ambition like you said, it’s the only way to live my friend always striving. It really is great thank you for the comment!! At the time I’d written that particular post I had nobody really checking me out and I’m very grateful that things are shifting. And you’re more than welcome, I agree with everything you mentioned in that post of yours. The consequences of mistakes of past generations are all getting heaped onto this current generation of ours and future generations. I’m in my twenties as well and, while I don’t believe in taking too pessimistic a perspective on life in general, the fiscal trajectory of the country isn’t pretty. Decades upon decades of mistakes don’t get remedied in a few years, and it’s true that an absent sense of moral obligation is partly what’s brought us into this precarious position. It’s my honest opinion that we’re in a calm before an economic storm, really really hope I’m wrong though. Not to jump too far off topic but I feel you on the burden placed on our generation. I apologize for the pessimistic rambling I still believe there’s always a way in the end gotta keep positive haha all the best to you!!

I love your “about” and the few posts I have had the time to read. I look forward to following you. I also wanted to apologize that I accidentally posted on my site before it was finished. You liked it (thank you) but instead of just editing and reposting, I deleted it. Thankfully I had a copy; however, your like was lost. If you would care to go back and read the rest of the post and re-like it that would be fine, but don’t feel it is an obligation!

Thanks for the like, your prose is wonderfully profession, and it’s one more thing for me to study as I try to break into journalism. If you liked my “F is for Family” review, you’d probably enjoy this interview I did much more. It’s far more journalistically satisying and what not.

No problem at all and that was a pretty awesome article! Interesting perspectives in the article, it’s been years since I thought about that tornado awful tragedy I’m honestly surprised more tornadoes like that haven’t run through urban areas it’s a terrifying thought, and a great quote to close on speaking about how people rise to the occasion in disasters as either ‘saints or scoundrels’ as he put it. I appreciate the compliment on my writing, and I wish you nothing but the best in your pursuit of a career in journalism!!

Oscar thanks for the like and stopping by my blog the other day…what are your thoughts on processed cheese? Is it even considered cheese?
LikeLiked by 1 person
No prob thanks for giving my blog a go as well!! When it comes to processed cheese it’s not really my preference my favorite cheese would probably have to be brie cheese I like gouda too, processed cheeses aren’t usually my go to but when it comes to philly cheesesteaks I don’t mind the processed cheese at all so it really depends on the context of the cheese haha happy blogging!!

Thank you Jeff!! I like the topic of spirituality and Quakerism was something once pretty foreign to me but I’ve come to realize it’s a tremendous spiritual outlet and it’s a very unique set up. My uncle’s family is actually Quaker and my grandparents were Quakers, and when my grandparents passed I attended Quaker meetings where people sat in silence and I watched firsthand how people can one by one stand and speak something kind and thoughtful and spiritually inspired to the rest of the group, I really do like the set up I believe we can all find our own route to a Higher Power thanks once again for stopping by come back anytime 🙂

Hey Ratté! It’s really awesome that you got to study abroad, I still want to go to other countries and travel around the world but I’ve not yet had a proper opportunity to do so, but perhaps that’s just me holding myself back from experiencing the life I want to live that’s really cool that you got to experience that, and no prob I really just randomly go searching through the blogosphere to interact with as many other bloggers as I can on random days when I get the time I do my best to interact with other blogs and I make a concerted effort to interact thoughtfully with each blogger who’s kind enough to interact with me I’m really happy that you like the layout of my blog I chose this style mainly because it draws immediate attention to the words though I’ve considered changing it to a layout that more properly conveys that I am trying to become a published author but I’m happy that you appreciate the simplicity of it, thanks so much for stopping by my blog man feel free to swing by whenever and happy blogging to you!!
